Happy, light-hearted, glad,
A face that's never mad;
Always ready with a laugh or joke,
Willing to share someone else's yoke.
What is this mask you wear?
When times are more than hard,
And you've got just one last card,
You never think of giving up;
You never shun the bitter cup.
What is this mask you wear?
Then you reach your breaking point,
And your dreams break down at the joint,
And everything comes crashing down,
And you've only got a heartfelt frown.
Where is the mask you wore?
People can't understand your pain
Even when you're going insane
Because you've never let them in,
And it's suddenly become a sin.
Where is the mask you wore?
You're alone, beaten, and drowned.
You're pain is strong, just been crowned.
There's no one who can dry your tears,
Heal your hurts, calm your fears.
Take back that mask to wear.
But life goes on, it gets long,
And you find the heart to be strong.
It wasn't because of family or friend;
It's because you know you cannot end.
Take back that mask to wear.
Though cracked, chipped, and worn,
Your solid spirit is not fully torn.
And so the mask goes on, you're happy again,
And all your dreams are whole and sane.
I missed the mask you wore.

Poem
I'm trying to reach you,
Can you feel me?
I whisper your name,
Can you hear me?
All I have can be yours,
All your dreams fulfilled.
What more can I say?
My arm is still extended.
I wait for you at the Golden Gate.
Will you come to meet your home?
Can you feel me?
I whisper your name,
Can you hear me?
All I have can be yours,
All your dreams fulfilled.
What more can I say?
My arm is still extended.
I wait for you at the Golden Gate.
Will you come to meet your home?

384 words today. Worse than yesterday, but still progress! I'm really excited because I've managed to skip around a difficult part and move forward in the plot again. I'm in Vahn's POV now, and excited. His POV is easier to deal with than Lisa's. =)
Also, I was thinking today how lucky I am to have a great family. And how I can't wait for my birthday so I can go to dances and date and drive. =3

Finally
Finally, after months of not writing, I've got 795 words in. Wood Heart is finally slightly appeased and Lisa is getting happier again. Something big's about to happen and I can't wait for more!

Hard Things
It's a very difficult thing to reassure yourself that what you did was right when all your friends are telling you that you are at fault.
Thoughts and feelings on this?

Japanese Class
Sumimasen! Gomenasai mina-san!!! Or, in other words, Excuse me! I'm sorry everyone!!!
This month has been sliding away from me faster than my dog slips through the door after playing with the sprinkler. And the cause for my slipperiness is my Japanese class. What a blast! In the last three weeks I have learned how to greet someone, spell my name, how to ask what kind of food is that? in a restaurant, order, find where I am, and tell people my basic info.
It's really hard learning a language that usually takes 16 weeks in 5 weeks, but it's a lot of fun. I have great classmates you are willing to help and who aren't too proud to get what little help I can offer. Luckily, I am not the youngest in the class. There's a Jr. High kid who beats me out by two years on the youngest scale.
Ja, it's been a very interesting Father's Day (neither fantastic or horrible) and I have more school tomorrow so I must finish this post. Keep in check!

Summer Resolutions
Personally, I think people should come up with a new set of resolutions every season change. Perhaps they would be more inclined to fulfill their resolutions better. So, saying that, my summer resolutions are:
- Pass my Japanese class with an "A"
- Get my room cleaned =)
- Pack up stuff
- Get more Personal Progress done
- FINISH ONE OF MY NOVELS
- Be nicer to everybody
- Keep up with my blog
- Read some books and, of course,
- HAVE A BLAST!!!!!
